SIIS Scholarship at Thammasat University 2020 for International Students is a Full free award to do research in Postdoc, PhD and in Masters degree. Each position has different award funds. The detail for SIIT Research Scholarship is given below:

For Master’s Degree:

• 100% Complete Tuition Fee and Educational Support Fee for 2 Years
• Monthly Salary of 10,000 Baht will be given.
• Also Research Fund and other benefits will be covered.

For PhD Degree:

• 100% Complete Tuition Fee and Educational Support Fee for 3 Years
• Monthly Salary of 13,000 Baht will be given.
• Also Research Fund and other benefits will be covered.

For Postdoctoral Degree:

• Postdoctoral Researchers (2 years contract, plus 1-year extension possible)
• Monthly Salary of 35,000-40,000 Baht will be given depends on research experience & publication records.
• Also Research Fund and other benefits will be covered.

Research Topics:

Masters, PhD and Postdoc students have to work on following 3 Research topics:

1. Prediction of Traffic Conditions on Expressway Using Smart Technology
2. Smart Ride-Sharing Program
3. Improving Logistics Performance Using Smart Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants from any nationality from all over the world are eligible for this award.
• To apply for masters degree applicants must have Minimum GPA of 2.50, or be ranked top 25% of the class in related engineering field.
• Students those who want to apply for PhD Degree must have a Masters degree with a GPA of at least 3.25 and also must have the possess relevant research experience that is substantiated by published technical papers. Working experience is also specially considered.
• Postdoctoral student must have to do these duties and responsibilities:
  1. Prepare research proposals
  2. Work in the assigned research projects
  3. Help supervising Ph.D. and master students
  4. Publish at least 1 international journal paper/year
  5. Other academic supports assigned
  6. Teaching assistance.
