INPEX Scholarship Program 2027 for International Students:

Benefits of INPEX Scholarship Program:
The scholarship offers a substantial financial package that enables chosen candidates to concentrate on their graduate studies in Japan without having to bear the majority of the expenses. Scholars who succeed can get:
- Entire examination, entrance, and tuition expenses;
- Round-trip transportation between their home country and Japan;
- A monthly stipend of ¥160,000;
- A settling-in allowance of ¥60,000 upon arrival; and

Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligibility depends on the nationality of the applicant.
- Applicants from Indonesia:
- Must be under 30,
- Be of Indonesian nationality,
- Have a GPA of at least 3.0, and
- Be from a STEM-related field, such as science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, pharmacy, or architecture,
- Have graduated from a prominent Indonesian university.
- Additionally, their suggested master’s program in Japan needs to be in a STEM area.
- Australian candidates must:
- Be under 30,
- Be citizens of Australia, and
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 5.25/7.0 from a major Australian university.
- They can pursue a master’s degree in any subject.
- Applicants from the UAE must:
- Be under 30,
- Be citizens of the UAE, and
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 from a prominent UAE university.
- Additionally, they can apply for a master’s degree in any subject.
- Unlike other scholarships, the INPEX Scholarship does not require you to apply for admission to a university first.
- Candidates must select the Japanese graduate school or lab of their choice and get in touch with the professor they wish to collaborate with.
- A Letter of Acceptance, or LOA, from the accepting professor is required at the time of application. Thus, the following is the practical order:
- Select a Japanese university, locate a relevant professor, talk about your planned study, get the LOA, and then submit your scholarship application.
- Applicants should keep in touch with their supervisor until the last few weeks because the acceptance letter is required.
