HEC Scholarship 2020 for Pakistani Students (Fully Funded):

Applications are invited to apply for the HEC Scholarships For Pakistani Students in Bangladesh 2019-20 at the Islamic University of Technology at Dhaka (IUT) For the Bachelors, Masters & Doctorate Degree. IELTS is NOT Necessary.

The Islamic University of Technology at Dhaka scholarships to Pakistani students who intended to enroll themselves in Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. Programs. Since this scholarship is offered by the IUT, hence, NO additional financial responsibility will be on part of the Higher Education Commission Islamabad.

International applicants have to apply through their nominating authority of OIC Member States to get Full OIC or Partial OIC Scholarship. HEC is the Nominating Agency in Pakistan.

Bachelor of Science (4-Years Programs) in:

1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Electrical and Electronic Engineering
3. Computer Science & Engineering

Eligibility Criteria for HEC Scholarship:

• Be a Pakistani/AJK national & permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. No dual nationality will be accepted.
• Mode of Communication is the English language. Certificate of English language proficiency would be an advantage.
• 12 Years Higher Secondary School Certificate for Undergraduate Program
• 16 Years of Education in Relevant Fields of study for the Master’s Program
• 18 Years of Postgraduate Qualification in the relevant field of study for admission in PhD Program.
• Applicants must fulfill other requirements set by the IUT, Bangladesh.
• Applicants are advised to apply in their respective program with relevant background.
• Application received in irrelevant programs will not be considered.

Financial Coverage

These Programs are partially funded, and the University will maintain funding to the eligible students as per rule. There is no financial liability on the part of Higher Education Commission Islamabad, Pakistan.

NOTE: HEC is only Facilitating Agency and has no financial liability, Final Selection is to be made by the IUT Authorities

Application Procedure:

1. First Download and fill IUT Application forms. The Application Form Links are Available below.
2. Attach all the required documents i.e. educational documents, police clearance & medical certificate in spiral binding for submission to HEC.
3. Meet all the requirement prescribed in attached form however no financial payment may be made to IUT authorities at this stage of the application process.
4. Apply through HEC online application portal i.e. https://eportal.hec.gov.pk/loa.
5. Fill out the online application complete in all respects.
6. After successful submission of the application form, get its printed copy and attach the payment receipt of Rs.300/– with HEC Application form only.
7. All payments are to be made to HEC through HBL online facility.
8. This facility is available in all branches of Habib Bank Ltd across Pakistan.
9. A separate bank Account No. 17427900133401 at HBL, Sector H-9, Shalimar Branch, Islamabad is being maintained for online transfer of fee to HEC.
10. Please send two sets of IUT application form along with required documents in Spiral binding separately and one copy of HEC application form with original fee receipt separately in Spiral binding, on or before Wednesday, 21th August 2019 on the address:
