Broad Summer Research Program 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the Broad Summer Research Program 2026 in United States. All International students can apply for the Research Program. There is no application fee. No previous research experience is required for admission to BSRP. Students must be available for the whole nine weeks of the BSRP program. The Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT is providing full funding for the BSRP 2026. Both US citizens and foreign nationals with employment permission are eligible for the program. Students who are interested in genomics can perform biomedical research during this nine-week summer research program. Leading scientists from MIT and Harvard will also present seminars to participants.
The BSRP is a nine-week summer research program for undergraduates who are committed to biomedical research and interested in genomics. BSRP has a proven track record of assisting students in fostering their love of research and achieving success in graduate programs and scientific professions. During the summer, students work in labs throughout the Broad’s research fields, including computational biology, infectious disease, and cancer, conducting unique computational or experimental research. Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be considered for the Broad Summer Research Program 2026 in the USA, students must:
- Candidates must have a strong desire to pursue graduate school (PhD or MD-PhD)
- You must be currently enrolled in a four-year college in the United States for the fall semester of 2025.
- Graduation Timeline: Must graduate by December 2026 or later.
- Applicants must be majoring in:
- Physical, biological, or computer sciences.
- Engineering.
- Mathematics.
- GPA must be at least 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or non-citizens having employment authorization.
- No prior research experience is required.
- Students with limited exposure to STEM are strongly encouraged to apply.
