Participants will investigate how democratic institutions, international collaboration, European security, and economic resilience are related. Participants will examine a number of significant topics, such as:
- Institutional trust and democratic fortitude.
- The emergence of illiberal movements and political division.
- NATO cooperation and European security.
- Hybrid threats and disinformation campaigns.
- The European single market and economic resiliency.
- The connection between international security, foreign policy, and democracy.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Early-career professionals and researchers with relevant academic or professional backgrounds are the target audience for this fellowship.
- Candidates must be younger than 35 to be eligible.
- It is required that you have a background in:
- law,
- political science,
- economics,
- international relations,
- security studies.
- Candidates should have appropriate work, academic, or research experience.
- Applications are encouraged from young professionals, scholars, policy analysts, and diplomats.
- Candidates from underrepresented groups in security studies as well as those from NATO and EU nations are especially encouraged to apply.
