FAO Young Professionals Program 2026 for International Students:

Applications are invited to apply for the FAO Young Professionals Program 2026. The program is intended for gifted young professionals who wish to support FAO’s efforts to create a sustainable and food-secure future by offering their expertise. The Young Professionals Program has declared positions in a number of nations, including Thailand, Nepal, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and others. Young Professional Officers (YPOs) are appointed to two-year fixed-term positions, typically at the P-1 level. The program offers a chance to obtain professional experience in a multicultural UN setting.

As a component of FAO’s Young Talent Program, the Program seeks to draw bright young professionals from a variety of backgrounds.   • Applicants must have at least a year of relevant work experience in the field or role.
