ASEF LinkUp Programme 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the ASEF LinkUp Programme 2026 in Slovenia. International students are welcome to apply. The initiative brings together government officials and artists from ASEM nations to investigate novel strategies for cross-cultural collaboration. Financial assistance for travel, lodging, visa fees, and daily allowances will be provided to a select group of participants from the arts industry. The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) runs an international cultural diplomacy program called ASEF LinkUp. ASEF LinkUp was created as a special venue for representatives from the public sector, government, and the arts to listen, share, and learn from one another. Its goal is to spur group action for more equitable, long-term, and reciprocal cultural exchanges and communication. This year’s Lab, which is co-organized with the Motovila Institute and in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia, and Center Rog, aims to rethink inclusive, moral, and sustainable cultural relations throughout Asia and Europe: who can participate, who has access, and what makes cross-border exchanges possible.
Candidates are being invited to join the fully financed international cultural program of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). About 20 people from Asia and Europe will come together for the 2026 edition, which will focus on sustainability, ethics, and equity in international cultural relations, to share ideas, fortify global alliances, and create novel strategies for cultural cooperation. - Candidates must be residents of a nation that is an ASEM partner.
- Candidates must be at least twenty-one years old.
- Candidates must be employed in the cultural or artistic fields
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience working abroad.
- Be employed as cultural practitioners, curators, researchers, professors, museum staff, arts managers, or representatives of cultural networks or organizations.
- Candidates must be able to speak in English.
- Be dedicated to taking part in every stage of the program.
