The position is intended for scholars who wish to carry out significant research on AI governance while assisting organizations, governments, and policymakers in overcoming the difficulties posed by cutting-edge AI. Fellows may be sent to the United States or the United Kingdom. In the UK, Govai is able to sponsor visas, but in the US, it only does so in extraordinary circumstances.
A key component of GovAI’s research is its research fellows. They are seasoned researchers who contribute to our thriving intellectual community while conducting independent, excellent research to support important decisions in business and government. You will contribute to the definition and resolution of some of the most crucial issues in AI governance as a research fellow. In order to inform important AI governance choices, your work may take the shape of policy documents, blog posts, scholarly publications, or strategic advising.
