PhD Research Opportunity in Computer Science
The proposed research project for the present School of Computer Science studentship is “Mixed precision methods for numerical linear algebra at exascale”. The project is interested in scalable numerical linear algebra and high-performance computing algorithms.
The study is focused on problems arising from contemporary computing hardware. Accelerators developed for artificial intelligence applications are now becoming common for high performance systems.
