UNCTAD Supply Chain Innovation Challenge 2026 for International Students:

Innovators from all over the world are invited to create unique, technologically advanced solutions to global supply chain disruptions for the 2nd Supply Chain Innovation Challenge 2026. The challenge is a component of the 2nd UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum, which will be held from November 29 to December 1, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Finding creative answers to present and upcoming global supply chain disruptions is the goal of the Supply Chain Innovation Challenge. The 2026 edition of the challenge focuses on the role of frontier technologies in assisting supply chains in anticipating, withstanding, and recovering from disruptions, building on the success of the first challenge held during the inaugural Global Supply Chain Forum in Barbados in 2024.
UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is hosting the competition as part of the 2nd UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 29 to December 1, 2026. Travel and lodging assistance are provided to the chosen winners so they can attend the forum. The 2nd UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum will feature winning proposals chosen by the challenge. Eligibility Criteria:
- Individuals from all around the world are welcome to participate in the challenge. Candidates may take part in:
- Either alone or in groups of up to four individuals
- One team member will represent the group in Saudi Arabia and present the winning proposal at the Global Supply Chain Forum if a team is chosen as the winner.
- Proposals must exhibit a strong dedication to sustainability, diversity, and usefulness in actual supply chain environments.
