Swiss Summer Student Program 2025 for International Students:

Applications are invited to apply for the Swiss Summer Student Program 2025 in Switzerland. International students are welcome to apply for these fully funded 9-week Summer programs in Switzerland. The top five Swiss universities have planned this fully funded nine-week summer internship. The ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, EPFL, the University of Geneva, and the University of Bern will host the participants for nine weeks. From July 14 to September 14, 2025, the program will be in operation. The Swiss Student Program is open to applicants worldwide and does not charge an application fee. The program’s goal is to choose undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of fields to work on research projects under the supervisor’s supervision. A select group of students will help improve various detectors and/or analyze data using machine learning methods. ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, the University of Bern (maybe FERMILAB), EPFL, and the University of Geneva will host the students for nine weeks.

The particle physics departments of ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, EPFL, the University of Geneva, and the University of Bern are in charge of organizing the Swiss Program. The Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) and the Swiss Institute of Particle Physics (CHIPP) are its sponsors. Students will be able to work on particle physics data processing or detector creation through the curriculum. We discuss a wide range of subjects, including astroparticle physics, neutrino, flavor, and high-energy physics, dark matter searches, and research on unusual atoms, which are the intersection of particle physics, atomic physics, and quantum optics. Scope of the Program:

The Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) and the Swiss Institute of Particle Physics (CHIPP) support the Swiss Summer Student Program. It permits international students to spend nine weeks working on a research project. Participants will visit five Swiss universities for nine weeks:

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Swiss Summer Student Particle Physics Program 2025 (Fully Funded):

• All nationals are eligible to participate in the program.
• International students pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in following fields are welcomed:
  • Engineering,
  • computer science,
  • materials science,
  • Medical Physics,
  • applied physics, and
  • physics
• PhD candidates are not eligible to apply.
• For the length of the program, applicants must be enrolled university students.

The last date to apply for the Swiss Summer Student Particle Physics Program 2025 (Fully Funded) for international students is 16th March 2025.
