Through the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), the Polish government provides full funding for the program. Foreign applicants from all over the world are encouraged to apply for this program to work on research projects, participate in scientific activities, and teach at Polish scientific institutes. Polish universities and scientific institutes will become more globally integrated as a result. Candidates will stay in Poland for six to twenty-four months. Candidates from any field are welcome to apply, and there are no age restrictions.
NAWA is a new institution that was founded on October 1, 2017. It was established to coordinate state initiatives promoting Polish academic and research institutions’ globalization. NAWA’s objective is to support Poland’s advancement in higher education and science. Its goal is to strengthen Polish higher education and science via international collaboration and exchange. Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants have to meet the given criteria to apply for the NAWA Ulam Program 2025 in Poland for International Students:
- All international scholars are encouraged to apply for the NAWA Ulam Program, except for those from Russia.
- Applications are welcome from researchers in any academic discipline.
- Candidates must be doctorate holders to be eligible.
- An application must include a research plan that is in line with the program’s objectives.
- Applicants are not subject to any age restrictions.
- Applicants must be working for a foreign research center or university. However, individuals who earned their doctorate after August 31, 2024, are exempt from this requirement.
- We are inviting distinguished academics with doctorates in any discipline from throughout the globe. You can work with Polish scientific institutions to conduct your research projects.
