The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) would like to notify the public that the Indonesian government has formally announced the Indonesian Aid Scholarship (TIAS) Program’s 2025 intake. This scholarship supports continued efforts to improve educational cooperation and cultural ties between our two countries by providing qualified Papua New Guineans with a worthwhile opportunity to pursue higher education studies in Indonesia. Government officials, civil servants, and those formally nominated by Papua New Guinean government agencies are the target audience for the TIAS Program. Successful candidates will immerse themselves in a comprehensive academic and cultural experience while attending recognized Indonesian universities.

Eligibility Criteria:
- A Papua New Guinean citizen is eligible for this scholarship.
- During the study time, you must not be serving in the military or be undertaking military service. You must also provide a certified medical certificate attesting to your good physical and mental health.
- A police clearance certificate attesting to the absence of a criminal record must be submitted.
- Must be willing to have a follow-up medical examination if chosen;
- Must have a current PNG passport that is valid for at least 18 months after the application date.
