Financial Benefits:

The British Academy Mid Career Fellowship 2025 will cover the following expenses:

• These Fellowships fall under the Full Economic Costing (FEC) framework, although the Academy’s contribution is calculated at 80% of this sum, with the Academy’s contribution to the pay of the Mid-Career Fellow capped at £80,000.
• The total value of an award is not expected to exceed £152,000 (80 percent Academy payment to FEC).
• Awards might be valid for a minimum of six months and a maximum of twelve months.

• The Academy will make appropriate allowances for applicants who have had career breaks, as well as established researchers who do not have doctorates and are within fifteen years of their initial academic position.
