The DAAD Summer Courses 2026 in Germany is a partially funded program that covers:
- One-time Scholarship Payment: Recipients will get 1,134 euros.
- Increased Support for Least Developed Countries: Scholarship holders in these regions will receive 1,309 euros.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the DAAD Summer Courses 2026 in Germany, international students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in any discipline.
- Must be at least 18 years old at the commencement of the subsidized stay.
- Must be enrolled at a university in one of the program’s related countries (except Germany) at the time of application and throughout the scholarship year.
- There must be a two-year gap between two university winter or summer course grants. Applications can be made if the previous sponsorship was in 2021 or earlier.
- Applicants may apply even if they have not yet completed their second year of higher education at the time the scholarship begins.
- Must be able to follow lectures and engage in group activities in German.
- The application must include a language certificate that is no older than one year.
- OnSET-Deutsch, TestDaF, Goethe Institute Nachweis, DSD, DSH, telc Deutsch, and ÖSD-Zertifikat.
- Must give proof of at least A2 level German.
