The tuition fee for a full-time student in the four-year Civilization Studies PhD program is 12,000 USD for the 2023-2024 academic year.
All students are accepted into the tuition fee with various variations of the scholarship.
Successful applicants will be offered a waiver of tuition fees as well as the position of Research Assistant and / or Teaching Assistant. Students who meet the highest standards of academic excellence and language ability will receive a monthly stipend of between 3500-4200 TL.
PhD scholarships cover Turkish and Arabic language preparation period (maximum one academic year) and four-year doctoral program duration.
Scholarships are for nine months each year. They do not cover the summer period.
Married students and / or PhD candidates who have passed their comprehensive examinations will be eligible for the Summer Scholarship. In total, they will receive a stipend for 12 months each year.
