The Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ) is the organization behind the fully funded international summer school in Ethiopia, Summer School . This year, from August 17 to August 30, 2025, the summer school will be held at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. The summer school lasts for two weeks, or fourteen days. Applications are accepted from candidates worldwide. The Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and its allies launched the groundbreaking Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ) with the goal of energizing, empowering, and motivating a new generation of activists in Africa and beyond to address the pressing issue of climate justice.
Addis Ababa University is an Ethiopian national university. It is Ethiopia’s oldest university. There are thirteen campuses of AAU. The Ethiopian University Entrance Examination (EUEE) score is used by the Ministry of Education to determine whether eligible students get admitted to AAU. Fundamentally, NSSCJ promotes equity within and between generations, guaranteeing that climate justice viewpoints are reinforced in local, national, sub-national, regional, and international initiatives. It creates an environment where creative solutions are developed and new advocates are given more influence by bringing together scholar-activists, community scholars, young climate justice advocates, and practitioners. Eligibility Criteria:
