McDonald Fellowship Program 2024 for International Students:

Applications are invited to apply for McDonald Fellowship Program 2024. All International Applicants from all over the world are eligible for McDonald Fellowships. The McDonald Fellowship offers a chance for new multiple sclerosis researchers from countries with lower incomes to spend time at a research institution in another country. While there, they can learn new skills or contribute to collaborative research projects. Also apply for EPFL Excellence Fellowships 2024-25 in Switzerland (Funded).

The McDonald Fellowship 2024 offers fully-funded international opportunities for researchers unable to afford global research experience. Candidates are expected to utilize gained expertise and networks for MS research and patient care in low and middle-income countries. Two types of fellowships are available: MSIF-ECTRIMS McDonald Fellowship and MSIF-ARSEP McDonald Fellowship.

The fellowship aims to deepen understanding of MS types, causes, symptoms, and related advanced knowledge. Overcoming barriers to MS healthcare requires a global, sustainable solution. MSIF collaborates with national MS organizations to address challenges comprehensively, offering tools and techniques from diagnosis to treatment.

Aligned with MSIF’s mission to enhance the quality of life for those affected by MS, the fellowship supports five key aims: changing attitudes, enabling informed decision-making, advancing scientific understanding, improving access to healthcare, and building a stronger MSIF movement. Through these efforts, MSIF fills gaps in the research workforce, enhances research impact measurement, increases MS research funding, and strengthens MS organizations and networks.
