InteRussia Fellowship Program 2026 in Russia for International Students:

Applications are invited to apply for the InteRussia Fellowship Program 2026 in Russia. All International applicants are eligible to apply. The Fellowship’s goal is to encourage experts in area studies, political science, and international relations to do research in Russia. “Security, Science, and Technology: Governance of Change in the Turbulent World” is the 2026 Fellowship’s theme. Candidates from all across the world are invited to apply for the fully funded Fellowship. The MGIMO University in Moscow, Russia, will host the fellowship from March 16 to April 26, 2026. The Fellowship lasts for six weeks. The Fellowship will begin at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations after participants arrive in Moscow. The goal of InteRussia is to create a horizontal network of up-and-coming academics from all over the world in order to promote productive scholarly discourse on new IR perspectives in a world growing more multipolar.

The InteRussia fellowship provides an opportunity for aspiring experts in the history, theory, and practice of international relations, political science, and area studies to immerse themselves in Russian academia, visit policy-making institutions, and participate in expert sessions hosted by universities, think tanks, and non-governmental organizations. The program’s distinctive characteristic is that the chosen participants will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with and get academic support from top Russian IR researchers from MGIMO University.
