IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2025 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2025 in United States. All International students are welcome to apply for this fully funded fellowship program in the USA. This is a fully funded three-month program for professionals from a variety of backgrounds who want to improve their practical policy skills for managing the challenges and opportunities of advanced AI. In the United States, the Fellowship is a fully funded three-month fellowship that can be completed remotely or in Washington, DC. Furthermore, from September 1–12, 2025, all chosen fellows must go to Washington, DC, for a two-week residential program. Fellows can finish the fellowship remotely or in person in Washington, DC, following the residency time. From September 1 to November 21, 2025, the program will be in operation. This fellowship encourages individuals from many backgrounds to develop and collaborate with specialists on AI policy initiatives to improve the ability to create workable regulations for both the positive and negative aspects of AI. Fellows will improve their track record in AI policy through the fellowship.
Key policy fields include national security implications of AI, government acquisition and procurement of AI, CBRN capabilities of AI models, export controls, evaluations, geopolitics of AI, hardware-enabled mechanisms, and jurisdictionally focused policy questions (e.g., U.S., U.K., and E.U.), among several others. The United States is the world leader in AI development, and maintaining this position is critical for national security and global stability.
