Google Cloud AI Builder Cup 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the Google Cloud AI Builder Cup 2026 in Singapore. Build a novel AI prototype and compete for a portion of the USD 30,000 cash prize pool and a fully paid trip to Singapore. Participants can participate individually or in teams of up to four. Using Google Cloud’s AI technology, participants will select a challenge theme, establish a team, create a working prototype, and submit their work for assessment. AI Builder Cup 2026 is an international AI hackathon for developers, working professionals, entrepreneurs, and startups in the JAPAC region. The competition, which is sponsored by Google Cloud and run by Hack2skill, asks contestants to use Google Cloud technology to create practical AI solutions. Builders that wish to apply AI to address significant real-world issues are the target audience for the AI Builder Cup. The top teams will move on to an in-person Grand Finale in Singapore, where they will present their solutions to Google Cloud and business leaders.
Start with a problem you understand, develop a Google Cloud solution, and demonstrate how something created for a local need can scale to a global one. The idea is straightforward. You are given a real-world problem, assemble your team, and have a few weeks to develop a solution before submitting it for assessment. The most promising solutions advance to an in-person final, where teams from all around the JAPAC region gather to present their work in front of a live panel of Google Cloud and business experts.
