The Council of Europe Youth Department organizes the Youth Advocacy for Democracy and Human Rights Training Course as part of the Youth Revitalizing Democracy initiative. - Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30; if necessary, exceptions may be made.
- Applicants must serve as a representative of a young civil society organization, international youth network, or national youth council.
- Political party youth branches and local and regional youth councils may also qualify.
- Applicants must possess a leadership role within their organization and be capable of carrying out advocacy campaigns.
- Applicants must be dedicated to human rights, democracy, the rule of law, and youth involvement.
- Applicants must possess the ability to work independently in English.
- Applicants must be a resident of a state party to the European Cultural Convention, but there may be some exceptions.
