Financial Benefits:
- Resident Fellows get funding through a ‘buyout’ arrangement, which reduces their normal teaching load and allows them to work with ANZSOG part-time on a secondment basis.
- Visiting Fellows, including international applicants, may apply for a 1-3 month visit, with ANZSOG offering travel and accommodation assistance. They are also given workspace and access to the ANZSOG’s broad academic and practitioner network.

Fellowship Streams:
ANZSOG provides two types of short-term fellowships during Semesters 1 and 2 of 2026:
- Resident Academic Fellowships—Available only to scholars from ANZSOG Partner Universities.
- Visiting Academic Fellowships—Available to academics from other Australian, New Zealand, and overseas universities.
- This program is part of ANZSOG’s audacious 2030 Strategy, which focuses on governance innovation, academic network strengthening, and consolidating the organization’s unique position at the crossroads of research and public service delivery.
