The Yunus Emre Institute to Apply for the Turkey Summer School 2019 Fully Funded Summer Exchange program in Turkey. Applications are open to all the participants from all over the world with any nationality.

YEE Turkish Summer Cultural Exchange Program will Run from 22nd July 2019 to 4th August 2019. Please Note that Any Type of Tests Like IELTS, TOEFL or GRE is NOTRequired. YEE Turkish school will Cover all the expenses of the selected participants from their home country to Turkey & from turkey to their Home Turkey.

To be Eligible for the Turkish Summer school, You should be between 18-35 Years of age. Along with educational activities, Yunus Emre Institute organizes art and culture events and supports scientific studies all around the globe through Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Centres and liaison offices at various universities worldwide.

1) Turkey in the World of Culture Heritage – Archaeology Summer School -Yunus Emre Institute

1. In this scope, Yunus Emre Institute is organizing Turkey’s Place in World Cultural
   Heritage – Archaeology Summer School as part of its thematic summer schools to present the world a deeper insight into Turkey’s cultural heritage.
2. In this Yunus Emre Summer School, where you will get the chance to gain astounding experience about Turkey’s cultural heritage through academic seminars and visits to archaeological sites and museums during the course of two weeks.

Date and Venue of the Program

This Yee Turkish summer school will take place in Çanakkale, Izmir, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, Ankara, Çorum and İstanbul between July 22nd – August 04th, 2019.

Turkey Summer School by Yunus Emre Institute  Eligibility Criteria

1. Good command of English. (The program will be in English due to international participants)
2. Should be between 18-35 years of age.
3. Should be open to intercultural dialogue.
4. Should have a genuine interest in cultural heritage and archaeology.
5. Should be studying/have studied Social Sciences, archaeology, culture studies, history, geography, cultural anthropology, folklore, art history, etc.
6. Should preferably a freshman or sophomore at the university level.

2) Turkish Cinema Summer School – Yunus Emre Institute

1. In this Turkey summer school 2019, our Institute is organizing the Turkish Cinema Summer School to share Turkey’s cinematic history with the world and present a deeper insight into Turkish cinema.
2. Field visits: Famous and significant movie locations, film sets, film production
   companies, series/film shooting areas, movie theatres, cinema departments, cinema
   museums etc.

The Yunus Emre Institute Summer School 2019 will take place in Istanbul between July 22nd – August 04th, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

5. Should be studying/have studied cinema or be working in the cinema industry
6. Should preferably be a producer, director or scriptwriter of short or feature films or should have taken part in a film project.
