Different country-award values for January 2027:
The ten qualifying January master’s programs under the 2026–2027 program are worth £10,000 for Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria; £8,000 for Vietnam; £7,500 for Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka; and £5,000 for Canada, mainland China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey. In that published cycle, there isn’t a USA award.
Exeter lowers the Excellence component when needed. January Excellence can only be combined with the specified £5,000, £7,500, or £8,000 country awards up to a total of £10,000. This authorization is part of the January 2027 regulations and does not extend to September.

Eligibility Criteria:

- AAB at the GCE A level or Exeter’s recognized equivalent is expected for undergraduate academic selection; a UK 2:1 equivalent is expected for master’s selection.
- These are benchmarks for scholarships, and alternative academic requirements may be necessary for the selected degree.
- Repare your credentials and academic transcripts, any necessary certified English translations, and the English proof that your course requires.
- Applicants for Exeter master’s degrees typically provide at least one suitable reference; however, some programs want two. Not all master’s programs require a personal statement.
- Write two responses, no more than 150 words each, that relate your goals and early experiences to Exeter and then describe the influence and contribution you hope to make as a scholar.
- Exeter values genuine individual insight; each eligible program may only have one application.
