Financial benefits:

There are two main financial advantages to the ACU Refugee Scholarship:

• Complete tuition reimbursement for the duration of the authorized course, provided that eligibility is maintained.

• Candidates must apply to ACU as overseas students or, in the case of Australian Year 12 students, through a suitable Tertiary Admissions Center.

Ongoing Scholarship Requirements:

• Recipients must continue to study in the program for which the scholarship was given, maintain a minimum passing mark in at least 50% of the credit points sought each semester, and continue to be enrolled full-time in the approved course.
• Additionally, recipients must continue to be eligible under the relevant visa requirements; they cannot be citizens of Australia or New Zealand, possess permanent residence visas, or be permanent residents.
• Scholarship recipients may be obliged to provide the ACU Scholarships Office with an annual impact statement by October 1st, outlining the ways in which the award has helped them. Any change in the status of a visa must be reported right once to ACU.
