With the backing of the French government, your next postgraduate transfer might be to Corsica, France. International applicants pursuing qualified master’s, engineering, and doctorate studies are welcome to apply for the University of Corsica Pasquale Paoli’s Eiffel Scholarship 2027. Building a strong case for a specific degree or research topic is, thus, your first responsibility. In order to help you approach that selection with purpose, this handbook outlines funding, personal eligibility, and preparation. It is not a guaranty that Corsica offers every specialization in these scholarship disciplines. Select a feasible PhD project in the relevant discipline or an existing university program.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France created the France Excellence Eiffel initiative, which is run by Campus France and assists French universities in attracting exceptional overseas students. It covers everything from law, economics, and French civilization to the ecological transition and computer sciences. This gives you the chance to link your academic goals with advanced training and ongoing financial assistance. University nomination is an important step. Before selecting which applicants to submit, Corsica’s International Relations Office, or SRI, works with the applicable program director to organize your file. Financial benefits:

  • Eiffel offers a monthly stipend along with assistance with travel, insurance, and lodging.
  • A master’s allowance of €1,200 per month and a doctoral allowance of €2,000 per month are provided by the September 2026 laws. Instead, Campus France’s student overview lists €2,100 for PhD scholars until the SRI establishes the appropriate reward amount, using the regulations’ lower value.
  • Depending on your entry point, funding can last up to 12 months for Master 2, 24 months for Master 1, or 36 months for engineering studies.
  • Doctoral awards can last 12, 18, or 36 months; shorter mobility routes include alternative doctoral arrangements, while the lengthier route is only available to eligible first-year arrivals.
  • Assistance with housing does not equate to free rent.
  • Similarly, as a general perk, Eiffel does not cover training costs.
  • For qualifying national diplomas and certified engineering degrees at qualified public universities, holders of French government scholarships are exempt from registration fees.
  • When evaluating affordability, separate course fees and personal living expenses are still important.

How to Apply for the University of Corsica Eiffel Scholarship?

  1. Choose your desired degree and path by using the University of Corsica course catalog. PhD candidates should explain their proposed supervision arrangement and research subject.
  2. Send an email to [email protected] with your planned program, current qualifications, nationality, and, if applicable, research interests. This university-led route is established by the official Corsica call.
  3. Put together your resume, study plan, motivation letter, transcripts, and rating evidence.
  4. Getting an official ranking statement as soon as possible would be my first priority because it provides selectors with helpful context for your grades.
  5. Include in your final dossier any additional supporting documentation that the SRI requests.
  6. Together with the program director, develop the scholarly case. Describe the relationship between your prior training, the suggested course or study, and your career objective.
  7. For the whole pre-application and any additional admission requirements, adhere to the SRI’s guidelines.
  8. Send it to the university for consideration. Only three to five carefully chosen dossiers will be sent to Campus France by Corsica.
  9. Support from your university makes you a national candidate, but it does not ensure an Eiffel prize.
