Transparency International EU (TI EU) is a Brussels, Belgium-based international non-profit organization governed by Belgian law (AISBL). We collaborate closely with the International Secretariat (TI-S) in Berlin as well as national chapters of Transparency International in more than 100 countries. Key Responsibilities:
- Keep an eye on trends and advancements in anti-corruption.
- Investigate and conduct desk research on pertinent anti-corruption statistics, trends, and stakeholders.
- Organizing internal meetings, external events, and presentations about TI’s work
- Help with project execution, including project management and reporting assistance
- Help with activity monitoring, impact assessment, and reporting to outside parties.
- Encourage communication initiatives like social media outreach and proofreading.
- General assistance with the office, including a range of administrative duties
Eligibility Criteria for EU Political Integrity Traineeship:
- Candidates must be in the early stages of their careers (no more than five years of professional experience in this field) in order to qualify for the legal traineeship program.
- The credit needed for a degree or diploma cannot be obtained through this traineeship.
- Applicants must have a university degree or comparable experience in European Studies, Economics, Law, Political Sciences, International Relations, Communications, or any other social science-related field.
- Applicants must have proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Applicants must have proven understanding of EU institutions and policy-making at the EU level
- It would be advantageous to have prior policy research and analytical experience.
- Applicants must have outstanding organizing abilities, including mastery of the Microsoft 365 application suite
- Significant interest in TI’s work and the anti-corruption sector
- Team player, a pragmatic attitude to problem-solving, and the capacity to operate in a small team within a multicultural workplace
- A dedication to Transparency International’s principles and objectives
