FAO Global Youth Contest 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the FAO Global Youth Contest 2026 in Italy. All International applicants are eligible to apply. Young people are submit a short written story explaining how the FAO eLearning Academy’s courses have changed their academic, career, or personal paths. A fully sponsored trip to Rome to attend the World Food Forum from October 12–15, 2026, will be given to three winners. This international competition, which is run by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) via the FAO e-Learning Academy, honors motivational youth narratives of education, development, and influence. You are invited to participate in the Global Youth Contest by sharing how your path has been shaped by learning with the FAO e-learning Academy and how you have been able to put knowledge into practice, whether it be by developing new skills, improving your education or job, or bringing about positive change in your community. Verified course completion and certified digital badges from the FAO e-learning Academy can support your narrative.
Three chosen winners will receive a fully funded trip to Rome to attend the World Food Forum (October 12–15, 2026) in order to honor and elevate young voices. They will also be invited to share their stories in a video interview that will be posted on the FAO elearning Academy homepage and on its social media platforms. This is more than just a competition; it’s your chance to speak up, motivate other young students worldwide, and become a part of an international movement that aims to improve agrifood systems for everybody! Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35.
- Applicants can be from any nation or area, including disadvantaged or underrepresented populations.
- Candidates must enroll in the FAO e-learning Academy.
- Show how your knowledge and abilities, as well as your academic or professional development, have benefited from learning.
- Applicants must have earned recognized digital badges after completing FAO e-learning Academy courses.
