CERN QUEST Program 2026 for International Students:

Applications are invited to apply for the CERN QUEST Program 2026 in Switzerland. All International students can apply for the Program. Candidates are admitted into this program from a wide range of professions, including physics, mechanics, IT, software, computers, civil engineering, data sciences, and support services, including finance, legal, and human resources. CERN employees are entitled to 6 weeks of paid vacation and a two-week Christmas shutdown. The standard working week is 40 hours, and each working day is 8 hours. Employees are entitled to 2.5 working days of yearly leave for each month of employment. Other special leave options include maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, as well as home leave for some employees. Cern has announce the Enlarged Directorate’s strong support for CERN’s first-ever targets-based strategy to increase nationality and gender diversity over the next five years. For experienced graduates, Switzerland’s CERN Program 2025 is a fully funded program. It takes two to three years to complete the CERN program. Applications are accepted from candidates in CERN Member or Associate Member States, and there is no application fee. The program pays for the candidates’ living expenses, travel costs, family allowances, insurance, paid time off, and employment contract.   • Two to six years of practical experience following graduation with a master’s degree.
  • A PhD with a maximum of three years of work experience after graduation.
  • You must also have never held a graduate contract or fellowship at CERN before.
